This 12 hour program provides level 2 certification as a Game Master of Tabletop Role-Playing Games for general gaming settings. This course provides information on one specific game systems.

Course ID: TRPG-GM-2-201-05

Focus: All (Layperson, Education, Healthcare).

Total Training Hours: 12 Hours (3-4 sessions)

RPG Formats Included: TRPG

Game System: Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition.

Game Setting: Various.

Total Rate (local): $1,440 (max 4 trainees).

Rate (teleconference): Negotiable (max 4 trainees) *

Rate (on-site distant): Negotiable / RPG Trailer (max 4 trainees).

Number of Trainees: 1 to 4 trainees per session.

Prerequisites: GM-TRPG-1+ certification.

Post-training test: Yes (multiple-choice, fill in the blank, matching, short essay).  Require 90%+ test score to receive certificate.  Certificate is valid for 5 years, or can be renewed with CEUs.

Training Certification Received: Game Master Level 2 in Tabletop Role-Playing Gaming with Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (GM-2-TRPG-DnD5). Certificate is valid for 5 years, or can be renewed with CEUs.

Details: This program is available to both laymen and established professionals.

This program includes (times are approximate guidelines):

  • Background refresher and RPG advocacy (30 minutes).
  • More in depth examples of game styles, and various approaches for creating and GMing adventure scenarios.
  • Coaching creation of World Creation.
  • Coaching creation of Campaign Outline.
  • Coaching creation of short module based on above.
  • Short play through with 1 or more players of created modules by participants.
  • Iterative processing about all topics covered.
  • Certification test.

 

Note: Typically provided over 3 four-hour sessions, all training must take place within a contiguous 3 week period. 

* Teleconference training may require additional software installation, software licensing, and hardware configuration before training begins.
