RPGF-1-100-01 - Role-Playing Gaming Facilitator – Level 1 – Beginner (3 to 8 hours depending on RPG format)

This 6 hour program provides level 1 certification as a Role-Playing Game Facilitator.

Total Training Hours: 5 to 8 Hours depending on RPG format.

RPG Formats Included: One of 4 Formats (TRPG, LARP, CRPG, SRPG)

Total Rate (local): $720 (max 6 trainees)

Local Rate / Remote Training: $720 (max 6 trainees per course)

Rate (on-site distant): Negotiable / RPG Trailer

Prerequisite Training: None

Post-training test: Yes (multiple-choice, fill in the blank, matching). Require 90%+ test score to receive certificate. Testing is immediately after course completion or can be scheduled later.

Training Certification Received: Role-Playing Gaming Facilitator Level 1 (RPGF-1). Certificate is valid for 5 years, or can be renewed with CEUs.

Number of Trainees: 1 to 6 trainees per session.

Details: This program is available to both laypersons and established professionals.

This program includes:

  • Overview Presentation (2 hours)
  • Interactive participation as a player and assistant to a GME or GMT (2 to 5 hours depending on RPG format).
  • Processing of play experience in the session(s) (1 hour).

 

Training includes introductory interactive participation in one of 4 RPG formats

  • Tabletop (TRPG)
  • Live-action (LARP)
  • Solo and group computer-based (CRPG)
  • Solo adventure books and modules (SRPG).

 

Note: Training can be delivered either as one 6 hour day-long program, 2 half day (3 hour) programs. All training must take place in the same week.
