ASL / Deaf / HoH

Our connections with the American Sign Language, Deaf, and Hard of Hearing communities.
  • RPG Therapeutics LLC's founder has been engaged with the ASL, Deaf, & Hard of Hearing communities since 2006.
  • From 2008 through 2012 he ran several American Sign Language study groups per week in Spokane and Cheney, Washington.
  • Grew the local Deaf Coffee Chat from 7-11 participants to 70+.
  • Helped the local EWCDHH (now Nexus) Spokane Deaf center overhaul their computer networks, servers, laptops, and desktops, because he could provide technical support without the need for an interpreter.
  • Actively engaged the many factions of the Deaf community throughout the Inland Empire, helping to draw them closer together, and come out of the isolation that too many had fallen into, through recreation and other activities.
  • Advocated for these communities at many locations and events.
  • Created the role of Accessibility Advocate at SpoCon 2017, rated by participants as "the most accessible convention in the Northwest" that they had ever attended.
